About Me
Hi, I'm K. Dulina Sampath — a Computer Science undergraduate from Galle, Sri Lanka, currently pursuing my BSc (Hons) in Computer Science at the University of Westminster through the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT). I'm a curious, driven, and adaptable individual who's passionate about building things that make a real difference — whether that's a secure web application, an intelligent data pipeline, or a tool that solves an everyday problem.
My journey into tech began long before university. Graduating from Richmond College, Galle — one of Sri Lanka's most prestigious schools — instilled in me a strong sense of discipline, intellectual curiosity, and the drive to excel. After completing my Foundation Certificate in Higher Education at IIT, I transitioned into my degree programme with a clear focus: master both the theoretical foundations and the practical craft of software engineering.
I thrive at the intersection of software engineering, cybersecurity, and intelligent systems. From architecting backend systems in Java and Python to building sleek frontends with React, analysing network traffic, or training machine learning models — I'm equally at home across the full stack. I believe the strongest engineers are those who can go both broad and deep — and that's exactly the kind of engineer I'm becoming.
Beyond the code, I've actively pursued professional certifications in cybersecurity and networking, demonstrated a competitive spirit at university-level coding competitions, and developed leadership skills through global learning programmes. I'm constantly expanding my skill set, staying up to date with the latest in tech, and working on projects that push my limits.
